Our Team
The support staff of Landmark Management Services, Inc. has over thirty years of financial management experience. We are at your service 24 hours a day with an emergency property manager on call. Landmark offers customer service in both English and Spanish for your convenience.
All management and financial services, include accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgets and monthly financial statements are performed by Landmark Management Services, Inc., employees using state of the art computer equipment and software programs.
Kent Sonneborn
President
Sonneborn has an extensive background in property management. He was a commercial banker for seventeen years with extensive knowledge of collection procedures and served as collection manager for a major commercial bank. Mr. Sonneborn was also a real estate/construction lender and spent five years as a corporate banker. Mr. Sonneborn is a 1986 graduate of Stonier Graduate School of Banking, affiliated with University of Delaware, and a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Sonneborn has owned and operated Landmark Management Services, Inc. since 1998.
Stephen Bodnar
Controller and CFO
Mr. Bodnar has over thirty years of experience in accounting, finance and systems. Mr. Bodnar has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the Penn State University, where he majored in accounting and minored in computer science. He has a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. Mr. Bodnar has also taught college classes in Accounting and Management for the past 10 years.
Ben Ahmed
Controller
As one of Landmark’s original founders, Mr. Ahmed has assisted Mr. Sonneborn expand Landmark since its inception. Mr. Ahmed has over (25) years of experience in Finance and IT and holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Accounting (LSE), and Computer Science (JIT).
Mr. Ahmed holds certifications from O.S.H.A. and The Department of Transportation (DOT) as an EEO Officer.
Additionally, he has over (25) years of accounting & finance experience in Construction, Property Management and the Utility industries. He is responsible for Landmark’s association accounting service.
Brad Sonneborn
Director of Operations of the Landscaping and Pest Control Divisions
Mr. Sonneborn has a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Communications and Business Management at Concordia University of Wisconsin. Mr. Sonneborn is responsible for all operations and has over six years of experience. He is licensed in Tree Trimming and Pest Control.
Hedy Maurer
Senior Manager and Marketing Director
Ms. Maurer is an industry veteran possessing over (25) years in the HOA/Condo property management vertical, (5) of which have been spent specifically at Landmark Management Services.
Ms. Maurer has a keen knowledge of the Florida Statutes, coupled with her ability to research documents provides her with expert skills guiding and supervising the managers along with their day to day operations at the office. She is also in charge of marketing operations for the company, along with Landmark’s client retention.
